Founded in 2005, we pride ourselves on creating fluid, cohesive, and exciting lighting experiences,
not simply “light shows.”
The music, the lighting selection, and the location all play a unique role as
they work together to create magic right before the audience’s eyes. Of the thousands of hobbyists (and even professional) productions in the world, the most memorable are those that are cohesive
in their lighting design, particular in their orchestral organization, and perfectionists in their programming. We strive to ensure every one of our productions meets these mighty standards.
A detailed synopsis of the process we use to ensure perfection.
1) Survey of Location
Where do you want to launch your experience? Do you need a custom tree, a lit building front, a shopping mall holiday transformation, or custom creation? We help you determine what will bring about the best impact you seek. At this time we take any special requests regarding color, theme, design, etc. and estimate the time and crew required for set-up and teardown. Together, we can browse our impressive selection of available wreaths, giant ornaments, trees, sleighs, and much much more!
2) Proposal
We will create a detailed proposal of the experience that will include: All display pieces and hardware required, Wiring solutions, Estimated labor costs, Power consumption estimates, Recommended music selection, Additional requirements (such as dedicated power circuits, audio systems, etc).
3) Construction and Song Selection
While your display pieces are being built, we create a palette of music based on a mood/theme of your choosing. From this Palette you approve the final songs selection. OR we custom-compose/arrange a Christmas medley specifically catered not only to your musical tastes, but also the lighting-design of the experience. The music composed with your specific show in mind.
4) Programming
We custom-program EVERY song (NO STOCK SEQUENCES) specifically to your venue.
5) Installation and training
A L.M.M. Technician, along with the crew, installs the lighting hardware and software on site and tests the system. Then, the technician tests the programming sequences live to ensure all the timings are correct and effects properly executed, adjusting where necessary. This is done because computer-simulated lights sometimes appear differently than actual bulbs.
The technician will also stay on-site though Opening Night to ensure a successful launch of your experience. Before departure, the tech will train a person or persons selected by you on the basics of normal light show operation to ensure the safe and successful use of hardware and software each night.
6) Enjoyment!
After so much planning and hard work, now is the time to enjoy your creation and watch as the crowds flock to your masterpiece.
7) Teardown
The crew will tear down and prepare the display for storage. L.L.M. can provide a storage facility or you can have the hardware and display pieces stored on your property until next year.
